Beside hardware problem I found the 2017 controller will show some ghost movement when I still on 6x firmware what I did is using shields input test and circle the analog stick a few time then after about few second I stop the input test show ghost movement nearly the same as my movement it also work for any movement patten quite easy to tigger.
